happy friday...

here in the getts' household we are SO ready for springtime!! we have had glimpses of spring here and there...however, today it was rainy all day..which is no fun when you have a 3.5 year old. we have had to get really creative with our indoor activities :)

john daniel is 10 months old today!! where does the time go? his favorite thing to do is EAT!! (just like his brother was and still is)...i'm very thankful that i don't have picky eaters!! he is pulling up on everything these days...not crawling though...i'm still holding out hope that he won't skip this milestone. we chat quite a bit with jim on webcam and currently my desktop picture is of jim. while me & the boys were in my room today john daniel looked at the laptop and saw jim's picture and said "da da da"...oh my goodness--this melted my heart and did my heart good :) he learning new things and changing each day...i can't believe that it is time to plan his 1st birthday party!!



while elijah was at Nama & Dapa's (jim's parents) this week...he dressed up as a cowboy!! he is really getting into playing outside with his toy guns and getting the 'bad' guys like daddy is doing in iraq!! :)
he is really enjoying pre-school. he goes three days a week and has learned so much in a short time. he can actually recite the pledge of allegiance!!! i am so thankful for this precious boy!
