happy friday :o)

a couple of weeks ago i wrote a post about how much i love the movie Julie & Julia!!

well, yesterday i got a package in the mail from overstock.com

i was a little puzzled b/c i hadn't ordered anything.

i texted the hubby to see if he ordered anything and his reply to me was:

{ open it :o) }

still confused...i tore into the package

and this is what he bough me:

i was SO excited :o)

i looked through it last night and WOW...

it has a lot of depth to it.

lots of information and lots of yummy recipes that i hope to master!!

last night we watched a nail biter of a game...

k-state vs xavier

what.

a.

game.

we (kstate) were up 15 pts at one point in the game...

xavier kept coming back

they were hitting 3 pointers all night long.

the game went into double OT

and

K-State won :o)

i really can't believe i stayed up til 1130!!!

it was worth it though...

next up...k-state faces the Butler Bulldogs!!!

tonight we are gonna watch 'The Hurt Locker' a movie that i've been wanting to see for a while.

i know it's very intense and i'll probably chew my fingernails off...

ha. ha.
