Friday Ramblings

1.  If you are reading this you see that I have a new TITLE and a new LOOK!! Thanks so much to one of my dearest blog/twitter/designer friends Jenn @ InMunchkinLand :o) She is a JOY to work with!! She's been my go to girl for my past two designs and my Bon Appetit button!!

2. I know I have been MIA for a couple of months...honestly it's because Jim needs the laptop most days!! Our iMAC is currently out of commission or i should say the monitor is! ha!!

3.  We just signed up BOTH boys for Spring Baseball! Elijah will be playing Machine Pitch again and John Daniel will be playing T-Ball :o)

4.  Augusta has gotten so much rain this month it is crazy!! It's supposed to rain all day to today and tomorrow. Sigh!! Although, I can't complain because a lot of you have been pounded with the crazy snowstorms!

5.  My word for this year is INTENTIONAL! It means...done on purpose or deliberate. We are called to remain in Jesus or stay connected. (John 15: 4-5) -- You can compare this to a dating relationship or a close friend relationship. In the beginning you are intentional. You get to know that person, spend time with that person...communicate with that person. I think it can be so easy to get in to a routine and just get busy with life and your immediate surroundings that we forget to be intentional! i hope this makes sense :o) The Lord has called me to be even more intentional in my marriage, my friendships (old and new), intentional with fitness and this blog,...etc.  I have to say...being almost 2 months into 2013...i can see the FRUIT of it :o)

6.  Most of my readers know that I've been a SAHM for pretty much the last 7.5 years give or take a few months here and there.  I'm so thankful to have a husband that encouraged me to do this! I have thoroughly enjoyed it.  We all know that seasons change and usually for me when a season is about to change i get restless! John Daniel will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall and we are praying about me going to back to work! I'm actually excited about it :o)  I'm hoping to go back to work for my FIL who is a pediatrician!! We are praying and seeking the Lord for His timing!! So...any prayers you may lift up for us would be greatly appreciated!!!
