Happy Saturday Everyone!!
I have never been much of a breakfast lover!
However, in recent years I have made myself eat it because I know how important it is!!
The trouble I have is finding a breakfast food that is filling and satisfying!!
Do you all have that problem? No, just me?!?
I love oatmeal but I'm not a huge fan of buying the pre-packaged stuff!
So, i searched the internet for some recipes and finally came up with my own version of Cinnamon oatmeal that is sweet, filling & satisfying!
Sweet Cinnamon Oatmeal
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk {almond, soy, cow, etc.}
1 T light brown sugar or more to taste
1/4 t cinnamon or more to taste
a dash of salt
i've also added a bit of agave
put all ingredients in a microwave safe dish
microwave for 3 - 3.5 minutes
keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't bubble over
This is a simple and quick breakfast for your busy mornings!!
